Smoothies seem to be all the rage in the health and wellness field, and with good reason! They are
packed with healthy, delicious and nutritious ingredients,
easy to eat on the go, and
make a great breakfast or snack!
Personally, I enjoy a smoothie every now and then, but I much prefer to eat my food (rather than drink it), so when I was introduced to smoothie bowls, I was sold!
I love the fact that you get the smoothie portion but can add all of the yummy toppings and eat it with a spoon. It's like a fancy, healthy ice cream sundae!
With summer around the corner, I wanted to share a few smoothie bowl recipes that will help you stay cool, hydrated and nourished during the heat waves we'll be experiencing.
Tropical Paradise Bowl
Transport yourself to a tropical paradise with this refreshing smoothie bowl!
Blend together frozen pineapple, ripe mango, and coconut milk for a creamy base.
Top it off with sliced banana, shredded coconut, and a sprinkle of chia seeds for added texture and nutrition.
